TV Show intros as extra file possible?

Hi, I’ve got a Show with tons of episodes, each without an intro in the mp4 file.

It makes sense for saving on storage, but I’d still like to see the intros, as I enjoy them.

So I was wondering if there’s any way to always play an “intro.mp4” before starting the actual episode. Of course each season would have to be able to use its own intro file.

The local intros plugin seems to be the closest to what I need, but from what I’ve gathered it plays random intros, so that doesn’t really work for me.

Thanks for any help.

You could try the trailers sub folder?

Sometimes it’s easier to just redownload in a format that’s more usabe than trying to make do with what you got. Obviously there’s a bunch of reasons why redownloading could not be a valid option.

If there’s only one intro per season, selecting a member at random from a set of one means it picks that member.

You could also add the intro to the videos. It should be trivial with ffmpeg or any other video editor.

Look up ordered chapters

I’d really like the opposite, autoskip all intros, or a script to rebuild the file without intros.

Okay, that’s a pretty cool request. But how much space does it actually save to do it like this?

It‘s One Piece, which currently has over 1.000 episodes, so I‘d assume it‘s worth the extra file hassle
