Psychostimulants, antidepressants, and mood-stabilizers are all classes of anxiolytic drugs used to treat depression and anxiety.
Diazepam, aka Valium, is an older anxiolytic
OP is implying that they are done with taking meds mentioned above, but when offered Valium, a benzodiazepine class anxiolytic known for helping people sleep, OP is all for it.

huh, TIL I just need a Valium to sleep.
Apparently it’s very easy to become dependent on it, so… idk. I can’t imagine not being able to sleep cause you can’t renew a prescription.
That’s why I stick to good old fashioned remedies like 5 or 6 beers. You surely won’t regret drinking 5 or 6 beers to sleep at night.

I really did like Valium for bad days. Daily stabilizers make me feel like sand.
