Mojeek API with Open WebUI

Unfortunately, Mojeek isn’t listed as one of the options when selecting the search engine in Open WebUI. The only way I imagine I could use the API is through the searchapi option, but it is really vague and I cannot really figure out how to connect it to Mojeek.

I am begginer, if you couldn’t already tell, so can you help me?

Open WebUi supported a dozen or so search engines out of the box the last time I looked, most emanating from a feature request on github commented on by well engaged users of the software. If your fave search engine isn’t supported there are well documented how-tos on rolling your own. Check the community plugins as well - someone may have posted something, or an existing one could be adapted. GL

I am trying through searchapi, but every time I click save, it deletes the api URL so I’m gonna look into it. I honestly didn’t know there were functions and custom models on openwebui

We have submitted a PR to the Open WebUI repo, which would enable Mojeek: github.com/open-webui/open-webui/…/6588
