What a weird way to talk about your own mom.

tatann@lemmy.world on 16 Sep 2025 11:12 next collapse

Worse, 16 year old mom

gravitas_deficiency@sh.itjust.works on 16 Sep 2025 11:36 next collapse

Your 16 year old mom who is dead 😬

HikingVet@lemmy.ca on 16 Sep 2025 18:53 collapse

Padamé was 20 when she stepped aside from being elected Queen. She wouldn’t die for another 8 years.

tatann@lemmy.world on 16 Sep 2025 19:06 collapse

I’m not saying she was a mom at 16, but this picture is from Episode 1. Portman was barely 16 during filming.

Violent sex fantasies about choking and butt raping someone is pretty weird too… 🤔.

DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social on 17 Sep 2025 03:35 collapse

It’s weird that you made it nonconsensual, but not as weird as rosco here making it incestuous. The first panel is the only one in the version posted earlier.

hansolo@lemmy.today on 16 Sep 2025 09:05 collapse

Is it weird to anyone else that Luke was basically a sociopath child, shooting innocent womprats for fun, and that killing plus using the Force is why he hit the exhaust port?

cabb@lemmy.dbzer0.com on 16 Sep 2025 09:24 next collapse

How do we know he didn’t eat them?

toast@retrolemmy.com on 16 Sep 2025 09:39 next collapse

He was a farm boy. They were probably considered pests, and if allowed to multiply would have sorely impacted his crop of…moisture

Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de on 16 Sep 2025 10:16 next collapse

Maybe they juiced them? For moisture? Or vaporized them to release moisture into the air?

HikingVet@lemmy.ca on 16 Sep 2025 11:58 next collapse

Wookieepedia lists them as pests

Bronzebeard@lemmy.zip on 16 Sep 2025 12:38 collapse

Why is hitting a 2m long animal considered brag worthy‽

LaLuzDelSol@lemmy.world on 16 Sep 2025 12:51 next collapse

From a spaceship

DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social on 17 Sep 2025 03:38 collapse

It’s more like a antigravity jet that can move like a helicopter if it needs to but yeah

This is what he was flying to when gunning at a target about your size.

He wasn’t bragging, he’s saying it’s easy…

hansolo@lemmy.today on 16 Sep 2025 16:10 collapse

I bet they’re full of moisture!

innocent wompra

I’ve always assumed that womp rats, being roughly 2 meters long, were intended as a kind of R.O.U.S. (Rodents of Unusual Size) and are presumably equally aggressive and dangerous.

I realize it’s a stretch, but it’s been stuck in my head canon since I first saw Star Wars.

hansolo@lemmy.today on 16 Sep 2025 20:07 collapse

Oh no, that makes total sense.

Can we make it head cannon that womp rats actually just are ROUSes in the same way that humans are in both? I’m just gonna go with that.

DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social on 17 Sep 2025 03:37 collapse

It’s actual canon

Kolanaki@pawb.social on 17 Sep 2025 03:40 collapse

I would assume a womp rat is some sort of pest and killing them is beneficial to the community. He might even have gotten paid a bounty, like my friends and I did for shooting squirrels for local farmers.

I mean, he also says they are not much bigger than 2 meters. 2 meters is like 6 feet. That’s a huge fuckin’ rat.
