The OG Star Wars games from back in the day were my bread and butter. The games ended up leaving a bigger impression on me than most of the movies, despite how clunky and odd many of them were.
The original PC games (X-Wing vs TIE fighter, Jedi Knight, Dark Forces) are still some of the best stories told in the Star Wars universe.
Even up to the prequel era (~2005), Star Wars games were mostly awesome.
Republic Commando was the shit. That’s what got me started reading the EU novels.
